Terms of Use

Effective date: August 24, 2026 · Version 2026-08-24

Who we are, and what you're agreeing to

comparemyloan.com is a website and service operated by Automatic Lender Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Use are the agreement between you and Automatic Lender Inc. that applies whenever you use comparemyloan.com — the calculators, the mortgage-monitoring service, and the emails that come with it. By using the site or the service, you accept these Terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.

Using comparemyloan is free for consumers. We never charge you to use the site or the monitoring service.

What comparemyloan is — and what it is not

comparemyloan provides mortgage monitoring, comparison, calculator, and informational technology. You tell us about your mortgage; we watch market conditions against those details and let you know when a refinance or a competing offer may be worth a closer look.

We are not a lender and we are not your mortgage broker. In the current service, comparemyloan does not:

Any decision about an actual loan is made between you and a lender you choose to work with — never by us.

The information you give us

The service only works as well as the numbers behind it. You're responsible for providing reasonably accurate mortgage, property, and contact information, and for keeping it current. What we show you depends on the information you provide plus available market information — if the inputs are off, the outputs will be too.

Calculations are illustrative

Rates, payments, fees, break-even calculations, savings estimates, and other outputs on this site are estimates. Actual loan eligibility, pricing, rates, fees, taxes, insurance, closing costs, APR, and savings can differ — sometimes significantly — depending on the lender, the borrower, and market conditions at the time. Nothing on this site is a loan offer, an approval of credit, a commitment to lend, or a Loan Estimate.

Not professional advice

comparemyloan is not legal, tax, accounting, investment, or financial-planning advice. Before making a significant financial decision, consider consulting a qualified professional who can look at your full situation.

Communications

Monitoring emails are a core part of the service you sign up for: when you ask us to watch your mortgage, we write to you when something worth knowing happens, and occasionally to confirm your details are still current. If we send marketing email, it always includes a working unsubscribe mechanism, and we honor opt-outs. Opting out of marketing doesn't stop essential service messages while your monitoring is active — and you can cancel monitoring entirely at any time.

Acceptable use

Use the site like a normal person checking on their mortgage. Don't:

We may block or limit access that violates these rules.

Intellectual property

The site — its content, design, software, trademarks, and everything else that makes it work — belongs to Automatic Lender Inc. We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use it for your own mortgage decisions. That license doesn't include copying, republishing, or building on our content or software without our written permission. The full trademark notice appears at the bottom of this page.

Service changes

We're actively building comparemyloan, so features will change. We may add, modify, or remove parts of the service — or discontinue it — at any time. If a change materially affects an active monitoring relationship, we'll aim to give you reasonable notice by email.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using the site or cancel monitoring at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms, abuse the service, or if we reasonably need to for legal or security reasons. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive (like intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) survive termination.

Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties — express or implied — about the service, including its accuracy, reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Market data can lag, estimates can be wrong, and the service may occasionally be down.

Limitation of liability

The service is free, so we limit our liability in a way we think is fair. To the extent permitted by law: we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — for example, a refinance opportunity that didn't work out the way an estimate suggested — and our total liability for all claims relating to the service is capped at the greater of (a) the amounts you have paid us to use the service (currently $0) and (b) $100. Some states don't allow certain warranty disclaimers or liability limits, so parts of this section and the one above may not apply to you.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Severability

If any part of these Terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.

Changes to these Terms

When we update these Terms, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date and version, and for material changes we'll give notice on the site or by email where practical. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
